STANDING

I stood where we agreed to part ways and made the commitment to stick together till we realised our dream. “ Standing at the same place” doesn’t imply that I m still where you left me — in a cafe. I still love you hopelessly from where I stand mentally. I still remember the silence before we departed with a heavy heart — the last time we shared the same glass of water and our tea cup. Our two pathways that day for betterment might come together to meet at the same spot, and I want it to be conclusion. All I have done is wish for that. Dreams of our planned life together occur to me from time to time. Having to wake up from dream is a sombre reality.
